1. To say daily private prayers at morning, noon, and night.
2. To recite or attend Matins and Evensong daily, and to be present at Mass on Sundays and twice during the week, unless prevented by lack of opportunity.
3. To receive the Holy Communion once each week, unless no opportunity is given to do so.
4. To say grace, at least privately, before and after meals.
5. To receive the Holy Communion fasting after self-examination and prayer, and to make a careful thanksgiving afterwards.
6. To make a meditation daily. Members shall be dispensed on Sundays and Holy Days from this rule if they are hearing a sermon or making an address.
7. To make at the close of each day a careful self-examination and a formal confession to God of the failings so discovered.
8. To make a sacramental confession at least quarterly, unless circumstances be that a discreet Confessor cannot be found.
9. To observe the practice of fasting and abstinence prescribed by the Church, unless dispensed by one's Confessor.
10. To attend each year a Retreat appointed by the Master, unless excused by him for grave cause.
11. To make daily the Act of Oblation.
12. To make a careful examination by the Rule once each week, and to report each month in writing any breaches of this Rule to the Master or Warden unless they have been able to attend a Conference.
13. To receive the Holy Communion once each month with the intention of the Congregation.
14. To receive the Holy Communion within the week of the General Chapter each year, with special intention for increase in the membership of the Congregation.
15. The official habit shall
be a black cassock and the Community scapular. When in street attire, a pewter
Canterbury cross lapel pin shall suffice as indicator of membership in the
Congregation.
